Where these questions come from
The bank is 1,003 questions across 12 topics, built from 14 sources. Some were written from scratch to cover gaps; most were extracted from published interview guides and then rewritten, given a rubric, checked by a second model and reviewed by hand.
Questions were extracted from third-party guides with `ingest-pdf` and `ingest`, then given topic, difficulty and rubric by `enrich`, checked by a second model in `audit` and reviewed by hand. Every answer and rubric point here is the pipeline's wording, not the source's, and no source text is reproduced.
It is generated from the question packs that ship with superday, the terminal application that drills it. No review history, schedule or personal progress is in the published data, and the exporter that writes it takes no database connection, so none can be added by accident.
Six market-awareness questions are held back on purpose. Their answers are levels that expire, fetched live when the tool asks them, and a static page has nowhere to fetch from - publishing one would put a rate on the web with nothing that would ever correct it.

- 97DCM syndicate desk question set - Bond syndicate, pricing, Schuldschein, hybrids, ratings and macro. Authored: the answers are parsed from the author's own desk handbook, where each is written as a script to say out loud, and the rubrics are written for this repo. Six items are kind=market_awareness: their answer is a dated snapshot bound to live data at drill time, not a stored fact.
- 40Deal mechanics: how the price is actually paid (authored) - Authored for the London/Frankfurt mid-market gap: nothing in the corpus covered locked box, completion accounts, the working capital peg or the UK/German public M&A regimes. Legal points are stated as market practice, not advice, and thresholds should be re-checked against the current Code and WpUeG before you rely on them in a room.
- 38European equity capital markets (Cleary handbook + authored) - UK and US securities law points are grounded in Cleary Gottlieb's London Capital Markets ECM and DCM Execution Handbook, April 2026. Thresholds, free float rules and fee conventions move; re-check before quoting a number in a room.
- 24Leveraged finance and European private credit - Benchmark rates brought forward to Euribor and SOFR; the Wall Street Prep source predates the LIBOR transition. Private credit, unitranche, AAL and the LME material are authored, since no source in the corpus covers them.
- 14HGB and German accounting for a Frankfurt mandate - Authored: no source in the corpus mentions HGB. Tax thresholds -- the interest barrier allowance, the trade tax multiplier, the corporation tax rate -- move with legislation. Verify before quoting a figure.
- 15Small-cap and private company valuation (authored) - Authored for the mid-market gap: the bank's 171 valuation questions all assume a liquid listed peer set and a company large enough to have one.
- 176Accounting - Extracted from the Breaking Into Wall Street Accounting Guide, a 400-question interview set, chapter Q&A sets on working capital and the statement walkthroughs, and a set of leasing notes.
- 172Valuation - Extracted from the Breaking Into Wall Street Valuation Guide, a 400-question interview set and a valuation multiples Q&A set.
- 115M&A and the merger model - Extracted from the Breaking Into Wall Street Merger Model Guide, a 400-question interview set and a 100-question technical guide.
- 95Equity value and enterprise value - Extracted from the Breaking Into Wall Street Equity Value / Enterprise Value Guide, a 400-question interview set and four Q&A sets over the same ground.
- 94LBO - Extracted from the Breaking Into Wall Street LBO Model Guide and a 400-question interview set.
- 63DCF - Extracted from a 400-question interview set and Q&A sets on DCF factors and multiples.
- 36Products: DCM, ECM and deal process - Extracted from a 400-question interview set. The bulk of these three topics is authored and ships as packs 01, 02 and 03.
- 24Fit, and how the interview itself works - Extracted from a 400-question interview set and a set of interview and assessment centre session notes. These are the standard fit questions with a guide's advice on how to answer them; the answer that matters is your own, so treat the rubric as a shape to fill rather than a script.
